I haven't tried connecting it to my computer since the first batch froze my computer, but those cables were faulty and since got a replacement.The new ones work great. You may get some occasional connection error with it and it will let you know. But overall, they work just fine.
I thought that it did both.It works fine, just not what I thought it was.
It shipped fast, and did as I paid for it to do - sync and charge my ipod, without having to pay ridiculous margins for a piece of plastic wrapped wire. For someone who is prone to losing little expensive knick-knack accessories, this thing is a Godsend. It is priced what it is worth unlike brand-name equivalents sold at major retailers.
Great company to order from and I am satisfied 100% Works like a charm.It was funny because I went into shopko and there sync cable was 35 dollars lol but with amazon I spent less than 10.
It's also much longer than the standard cable that Apple provides. This cable is a great value.
